About the Department

Through these departments all 6.8 square miles of our Village that are considered public property are maintained. With our small army of 40 men and women, we take care of over 55 miles of streets, sidewalks and trees, we maintain 32 properties, we operate 49 facilities, take care of 12 beaches that stretch some seven miles and are responsible for over 100 vehicles.

The Village is very fortunate that we have a work force that does more then just work for us. Our employees take great pride in what they do and are prepared to respond in any emergency. Should you have a complaint or inquiry, please contact the respective department, the superintendent, or the Village Clerks office.
